Josh Azzarella's work is featured in the exhibition "A New Reality; Black and White Photography in Contemporary Art" at the
Zimmerli Museum in New Brunswick NJ. In the exhibition is work by Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, Sherrie Levine, Duane Michals, Vik Muniz, Cindy Sherman, Mike and Doug Starn, William Wegman, and Joel-Peter Witkin, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Laurent Millet, Tacita Dean, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Mohammad Eslami-Rad.

Josh Azzarella is also in the exhibition "Crash, Pause, Rewind" that is traveling to the Missoula Art Museum after it's original venue at Western Bridge in Seattle. The exhibition was curated by Eric Fredericksen and includes work by Richard Barnes, E.V. Day, Tacita Dean, Christoph Draeger, Jon Haddock, Timothy Hutchings, Chris Larson, Euan Macdonald, and Robert Lazzarini.
